suaded us to add more than 30 new

YMOD 7000 remote modular DAS

modules to our lineup! Now match-

ing a module to the detailed require-

ments of your application is much

easier than it ever has been.

Our CyMOD CM 7000 series is

an enhancement to our 4000 series

modules. Our popular CYMOD

4000 and ADAM 4000 models

remain available.

New A/D, D/A & DIO Lines

Our line of CYMOD analog input

models now includes two new

8-input models, expanded thermo-

couple and RTD ranges, plus

expanded strain-gauge support.

There are two new analog-output

modules with programmable

power-on values & output slopes.

Twelve new digital I/O modules

have inputs that can also be used

as 16-bit counters, outputs that

support up to 100 mA per channel

(or relays for AC power), and LEDs

that show I/O and relay status.

Ethernet, USB, & Serial Converters

We’ve also added 8 converter

modules (pages 144-145). Isolated

serial converters and repeaters

help mix & match RS-232/422/485

signals. You can place up to 256

modules on one RS-485 twisted

pair without a repeater or as many

as 2,048 modules with repeaters.

CM 7188 Ethernet to serial

converter modules include one to

seven RS-232 ports. They can

assign a unique address to each

RS-232 device. That means your

PC can both send a command to a

specific RS-232 device and receive

a response back from it.

Industry Standard Compatibility

All CYMOD and ADAM modules

can be used together. Series 4000

modules perform the same

functions, and are designed to be

both hardware and software-

compatible. CYMOD 7000 modules

closely follow the other two, but

with a newer case design.

All three series are the same

size, and can be wall, DIN-rail, or

piggyback-mounted (on top of each

other) in much the same way. How-

ever, 7000 models and 4000 models

do not piggyback on each other.

All three lines offer signal

conditioning, DAQ, and control.

YMOD modules can be seamlessly

integrated into an existing ADAM

system to provide cost savings.

Our new CM ENC06 & CM ENC16

enclosures mount both CYMOD and

ADAM modules.

There can be minor specification

differences between C

YMOD modules

and their ADAM counterparts.

Our new CM 7000 series of modules come with

a complete set of DLLs for Win32, Borland

C/C++, Delphi

, VB5, VC5, DASYLab, ActiveX

(OCX), and DDE Server. Utility software is also

included for Windows

98/2000/NT/XP. These

intelligent modules are easily controlled via an

ASCII-format request/reply protocol.

Several software options are available for use

with our CM 4000 series of data-acquisition

modules. Included at no additional cost is

CyberResearch’s CM DLL Windows-compatible

Dynamic Link Library for these modules.

Outstanding features include:

• 32-bit device drivers to take full advantage

of Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP

• A complete set of Visual C/C++ and Visual

Basic example programs to clarify the use of

each function.

DAQBench is a Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP 32-bit

library of ActiveX controls for CYMOD 4000

modules that has won praise from users for its

ease of use and intuitive operation. It enables you

to create customized data acquisition programs by

simply dragging and dropping objects.

digital, analog, and timing I/O operations

• An Analysis Library featuring a complete set

of analysis functions to help you convert your
