Serial Communications Changing COMM Labels

Press the Advanced button and the available COM labels are displayed in the drop down box

next to the ‘COM Port Number’ section:

Select the new COM label and press OK. Press OK to the Port Properties screen to return to

Device Manager.

Go to Action and select Scan for Hardware Changes (if it is greyed out, click on any of the

items in the Device Manager window and then try the Action menu again:
